SHINee’s Second Japanese Single ‘JULIETTE’ ranked No.1 in Oricon Chart!

SHINee who has been performing in Japan ranked the first on the Oricon daily single chart.

SHINee proved their tremendous popularity in Japan by taking the first place on the

Oricon daily single chart (8/30) with their second Japanese single ‘JULIETTE’ (released on the 29th) for the first time since their debut in Japan.

This single contains Japanese version of ‘Juliette’ which topped various music charts in Korea and SHINee’s first Japanese song ‘Kiss Kiss Kiss,’ so it is good enough to meet SHINee’s trendy and refined music performance.

Also, SHINee’s debut single ‘Replay- 君は僕のEverything (너는 나의 모든 것),’ which was released in June, made the highest first week sales record in the category of Korean group debut single and ranked 2nd on the Oricon weekly single chart. Because of their success in debut single, SHINee received a gold certificate (for selling more than 100,000 copies) from Japan Record Association.

Moreover, SHINee was selected as new model for Japanese denim brand ‘Right-On’ and scheduled to hold ‘SHINeexNEW SHINY DENIM’ campaign from September so SHINee’s popularity in Japan is expected to grow rapidly.

Meanwhile, SHINee will present great performances at ‘SMTOWN LIVE in TOKYO SPECIAL EDITION’ which will be held in Tokyo Done in Japan from September 2nd to September 4th.
