[NEWS] SHINee’s Taemin Reportedly Preparing for Solo Comeback

According to a music industry insider, singer Taemin of SHINee is preparing to show a different side of himself by releasing his second solo album. He’s currently in the process of making his song selections.

 Taemin debuted as a member of SHINee in 2008 and released many hit songs like “Replay,” “Amigo,” “Juliette,” and “View” among other hits. SHINee is known to have both strong vocal and performance talent as a group.

 This isn’t the first time Taemin decided to go at it alone. He already released a solo album last year proving himself as a singer who can carry his own weight. Other singers have shown their close friendships by participating in the production of his first solo album. SHINee’s Jonghyun wrote some lyrics with EXO’s Kai rapping. TVXQ’s Changmin also sang and wrote some lyrics for the album.

 Through his first solo release, Taemin presented a powerful masculine performance. His solo debut was successful with the title song “Danger” ranking number one on various music shows and topping the music charts.
