SHINee’s Minho will be joining the soccer team for KBS’ 'Our
Neighborhood Variety and Sports'.
On May 7, the director for Our Neighborhood Variety and
Sports confirmed with Newsen, saying “SHINee’s Minho will be joining the soccer
team for Our Neighborhood Variety and Sports.
Cho Sung Sook PD added, “The show’s soccer team had a
friendly match with their friends, and Minho played in that game. Minho’s
performance was so great that Lee Young Pyo (former national soccer player)
said it would be nice to have Minho on the team and requested Minho.”
“The soccer team was lacking players for substitutes,
allowing the teammates to welcome Minho’s addition.”
“Minho has already joined the filming,” said Cho Sung Sook
PD. “Minho said he’s never officially played soccer. But he’s very skilled. The
other members are improving just seeing what Minho does.”
Meanwhile, Minho will make his first appearance on the show
on May 13’s broadcast in the friendly match episode.
