[INFO] SHINee and fifteen Kpop stars to hold charity concert in Japan

Sixteen of the leading KPOP stars will get together this May for a charity concert in Japan. This event, titled “Tokyo Legend 2011- Korean Music Wave Live in Tokyo,” will be co-hosted by MBC and its “Show! Music Core,” Fuji TV, and Avex Entertainment to commemorate the 50^th anniversary of MBC’s founding, one of the three largest TV networks in Korea. The performers at this concert, scheduled to be held on May 14th at the Saitama Super Arena in Tokyo, include: TVXQ, 2PM, SHINee, BEAST, MBLAQ, FT Island, 2AM, Cho Shin Sung, SG WANNABE, f(x), 4Minute, Miss A, Secret, IU, SISTAR, and ZE:A.

All proceeds from this concert will be donated to “Good Friends Save the Children (GFSC),” a non-profit organization specializing in child education, in order to aid impoverished children in Asia receive proper education. Also, all participating artists will make donations and give a special message to help aid the Japanese relief efforts following the recent earthquake and tsunami disaster. In addition, 23 select nurseries in Japan will get invited as special guests to the concert, and children from each nursery will also receive a special gift from the artists.

“We would like to send our condolences to all the people suffering from the disaster in Japan. We are seeking ways to better help and support relief efforts in Japan,” an official from the concert said in a statement. At the concert, there will be a separate area for fans to make individual donations as well. We hope for a quick recovery in Japan!

[INFO]This week’s Teuk Academy featuring Changmin, Key, and Se7en!

I think most of us have heard about the famous Teuk Academy. If you haven’t, Teuk Academy is a corner on the popular SBS variety show Strong Heart. It features threeSuper Junior members: Leeteuk, Shindong, and Eunhyuk. Each week they find new ways to entertain the crowd while also helping the celebrities on the show show off different sides of their personalities and hidden talents.

On this week’s Teuk Academy, the notable celebrities were Changmin (2AM), Key(Shinee), and Se7en. Members of the Teuk Academy created a talent competition like atmosphere to get these stars to show their hidden talents. The first called up was Changmin. They showed the audience his profile with the picture cut out and when overlapped with his face it emulated his profile as seen on the internet. When asked to show his talent, Changmin chose to surprise the audience with his tumbling skills. Afterward, he did a short rendition of one of Park JinYoung’s songs. Unfortunately, Eunhyuk disqualified him because he was sick of singers doing impressions of their bosses. This brought laughter to the audience.

Key was the next one up. When asked what his special talent was, he replied, “I’m good at dancing the girl group choreographies, but because JoKwon (2AM) does it so often he is known for it more.” He also added, “JoKwon is good at bringing laughs with his dances, but he isn’t dancing well.” He tried to prove that he is the king of girl group dances by dancing to Miss A’s Bad Girl Good Girl. This pleased the crowd and he passed Eunhyuk’s standards.

Se7en participated last. When Shindong remarked that the profile said Se7en’s height was 181cm, Se7en replied, “That is with my hidden insoles.” When asked what his real height was he said, “Roughly 179cm.” Then he brought laughter to the crowd by saying that he had no special talents. However, the Teuk Academy got him to do a few dances that impressed everyone.

[NEWS]2AM's Changmin was mistaken for SHINee's Onew

2AM Changmin revealed "As I have been doing Homme activities, I realized the importance of 2AM".

On the 29th, the 2AM members participated in 'Kwon's Day', Jo Kwon's birthday fan meeting.

On this day 2AM went on stage for a '2AM Q&A' time. When one fan asked "Which member do you think you would feel okay with if they left for another group?", Seulong laughed and said "Homme's Changmin". Changmin is currently actively promoting with 8eight's Lee Hyun for their project group 'Homme', with their track "Still Eating Well" in first rank.

Changmin expressed sadness and said "As I've been doing promotions for Homme, I realized the importance of 2AM".

The members who have come all this way longer than anyone else are not only important, but there is also a funnier reason. "When we go into broadcast stations or anywhere else together, we can get in with ease. However when I promote with Homme, it's more difficult getting into those broadcast stations."

"Not long ago we went into a broadcasting station and when we were asked who we were, we answered 'We're Homme', but they didn't recognize us. Only after we said 'Homme' 3 times, that's when they said "Ah, Onew?" and let us in." He continued, "Jung Sun Hee nuna advised me to wear sunglasses and look at everyone at an angle."

In addition Changmin, Seulong and Jokwon said "I think Jinwoon will do good in CN Blue or FT Island", "He's always liked instruments and always practices at night, I think if he joins them he'll do good. However we're not saying he should join them permanently. Maybe about 4 years? We're thinking of what it'd be like if he came back after letting out all of his grudges."
