The world was left in shock earlier today as they found out about the great loss of fashion designer Andre Kim. Once a model for his fashion show, SHINee’s Minho is currently feeling a deep regret after receiving the news.
Andre Kim (75) lost his battle to colorectal cancer on the 12th of August at 7:25 PM (Seoul, Korea time) after being hospitalized for several weeks at Seoul National University Hospital. SHINee’s Minho had been the main male model for Andre Kim’s 2008 Fashion Show for World Knowledge Forum.
The two grew close throughout the project and maintained a friendship over the years. Minho was originally scheduled to travel to Kangwon-do and Sokcho for broadcasting but decided not to attend after receiving the news. “It’s like the world has lost a huge star, it’s so sad and my heart hurts,” the idol said.
SM Entertainment released a statement on Minho’s behalf, who is said to be beating himself up, ““I resent myself so much and became regretful for not being able to give him a simple greeting.”
Minho, who had been recovering from an injury has just recently been able to dance for SHINee’s promotions. But after receiving the tragic news it’s likely he won’t be appearing on tonight’s music shows.
